The body of a man was found in an open field in Lenasia on Tuesday morning, Gauteng police said.
Warrant Officer Kay Makhubela said a local resident found the body while passing through the field and called the police.
Police found that the body had multiple stab wounds.
"We don't know his identity and there have been no arrests. We have opened a murder case," Makhubela said.
The police have since begin looking into the case to find out what happened to the victim and promises to bring to book those who are behind the act...........
